Healing spells weren’t his forte and looking at all the blood covering her chest, the ones he remembered would have been just a waste of precious seconds.
“Shh,… it’s nothing, it’s nothing,” he couldn’t stop repeating. “You’re gonna be okay.”
The ground felt soft and cold against her back and Rowena didn’t mind so much the red liquid on her blue dress. She would no longer need it anyway.
“You’re gonna be okay,” Godric whispered again as he brushed hair out of her face.
It was a lie. He have been on enough battlefields to identify a lethal wound and she have read enough medical books to recognize a mortal injury. They both knew it.
“You’re… gonna be okay.” Again.
Lady Ravenclaw smiled softly.
“You always were a terrible liar…”

He didn’t notice the presence of the young witch; too busy collecting his belongings together after his daily training, while talking to one of the house-elves… even with them, he always acted nicely.
Determined to recollect herself, she left, inappropriate thoughts flooding her brain.

Disappearances and murders proliferate, as the money coming from the Mafia with weapons traffic and ‘private clubs’ finances more and more the electoral campaigns. Each district is now controlled by the Families, with more or less benevolence and violence, the differentes bridges over the Thames remaining the only neutral areas in all town…
