BIOPICS I WANT:

a biopic about Caligula

There are few sources on Caligula’s reign: he is described as a moderate ruler during the first two years of his rule.
After this, the sources focus upon his cruelty, extravagance, and sexual perversity, presenting him as an insane tyrant (trying to make his horse, Incitatus, a consul and a priest ; incest with his sisters and prostituting them to other men ; wanting a statue of himself erected in the Temple of Jerusalem for his worship). Once at some games at which he was presiding, he ordered his guards to throw an entire section of the crowd into the arena during intermission to be eaten by animals because there were no criminals to be prosecuted and he was bored.
While the reliability of these sources has been questioned, it is known that during his brief reign, Caligula worked to increase the authority of the emperor…
